when i turn on the lights , the background lights dont light

the hand break , normal front light , hight front light , fuel light and meter , water meter , and everything else works fine , but their background lights are always off

the dimmer which underneath the wheel is connected and seems to not make any differencd

what did i miss?

thanks

checked the fuses? also not uncommon for the dimmer t not work, try a bypass wire in its place.

Try to fit a known good spare stalk for lights/indicators ... if that doesn't work , check the brake light switch and it's wiring (it's on top of the brake pedal) , most cars have dash lights wired via brake light switch so if there's a problem with dash/cruise illumination i usually check that first ..

When you switch on the side lights, do the side lights come on in the head lights? if not check fuse 13 should be 5 amp. Dont waste time checking the brake light switch as that is all different wiring.

anyway , didn't work out for me . will take it to electrician and see what's going on

also , maybe i will disconnect the coming/leaving home system . too many wires over there!!
