To Reshell Or Not To Reshell

Recommended Posts

Rolando

so i'm in the middle of rebuilding my high boost s/c engine and i'm planning on stripping out all the interior and fitting a cage with buckets and harnesses. how ever my 205 has a sunroof which i want to get rid of so ive decided to either;

change the roof skin and get the roof with the rear quaters resprayed

or i could reshell into a miami 1.9 non sunroof shell i have. the only thing is id have to swap over all of my running gear, wax oil the underneath and then get it fully resprayed. bearing in mind my engine will be out anyway so that bit doesnt count.

here are some pics of my pug and the shell.

That miami is a minter! I'm sure there is a solid shell under the though. From the sounds of it it will be an equal amount of work so which ever colour you prefer I would say!

Can you update your thread and get up some more pictures? :) Lynx kit is the plan for the Rallye!

I'd change the roof skin, if you really need to get rid of the sunroof.
