My Daughter Has Just Got A 206

Bought a 2002 206 1.4 lx with 72k on the clock with 2 months tax and 12 months MOT off Ebay, however like all 2nd hand purchases it is not new and has a few niggles. So any help would be greatfully appreciated.

 

Fuel gauge faulty.

 

Central locking does not work even when using the key in the drivers door lock (I assume if used in the lock it would then open the passengers door too) The remote on the key does not work however this could be just a flat battery.

 

The indicator stalk does not cancel properly.

 

I'm sure there maybe more!

Check if it has COM2000 indicator and wipers stalk or "normal" ones.

2002 sounds like it may be just a COM 2000 one. It is a complete unit to replace, not just one stalk. These commonly break on the cancelling mechanism. My 307 had one changed under warranty.

or you can stick a piece of foam in the steering coloum shroud.
