My Old Car For Sale(Already?)

Now I'm a cynic and often sometimes wrong, but was the car was sold with a known fault, but lack of garage mooted as a reason to sell, then amazingly find another garage to kep it in and get another miami in better condition within days. Lucky x 3 or what. Why did you not ask to buy it back if you sorted a garage with all the work you did? Is the new owner peeved thinking he has been done up like a kipper and wants out?

 

To Be Honest i sold the car and he came down on his own free will with his mechanic mate and looked around the car, i did not put a gun to his head and say buy my FOOKing car!!!

 

He had the choice to walk away but he did not and he made me an offer.

 

What was i supposed to do??? Say No coz phil H is a cynic, i think i better keep it, he offered me the money and i said yes.

 

Don't know why people are suggesting i ripped him off, i sold a car i made money(apparantly a crime here) was offered another garage by a friend which i was very greateful as i said i don't have a car anymore and he said he don't use it so i started to look for another 205, the reason i did not buy my old one back as i wanted a 1.6(thats a crime too, changing your mind)

 

i never said on the description anything about the engine as i have never had the motor apart to comment on the condition so i said nothing.

 

Please shoot me down in flames for selling a 205 without the forums full consent.

Mate that is a jigsaw of a reply. All over the place and almost like there are pieces missing.

 

You seem to be missing the points made.

 

Bottom line is you have a nice car now and also a nice award for your mantlepiece, so it's a win win for you

This topic is going nowhere so I am locking it.

 

BUT I am seriously annoyed at the tone of some of the posts in this topic. Did some of you have a bad day yesterday or what?

I want EVERYONE to start thinking twice before they post. I am also intending to review all posts on this topic, and I may then award some lucky users with some warn for their troubles.
