Weak Spark

Recommended Posts

grahamlaw

So I've got a very weak spark probably due to ignition amp but I want to change my leads dizzy cap, etc. I went to Halford for my leads and they didn't have them in. I took the number out the book, Bosch B128 and ordered them off the net. Wrong!! They don't fit. Can anyone tell me the right number for my 1.6?

Can anyone tell me where to get a Bosch amp? The one I got is Cambiare and it's not made a difference.

Bosch ECAT says B 725, female type dizzy cap.

Thanks for that. Picture looks a lot closer to the ones I have. Now to source an amp.

Just seen my problem. The bottom picture you posted are the ones I ordered but the leads I have look different. A bit longer on the dizzy end. So maybe I do need b128's.

I think I've found the right ones. B820 looks spot on. I found it on Bosch ecat using engine code b6e. Next to the picture icon on ecat there's an info button and clicking it brings up a bubble saying it's for auto gearbox cars and mines a manual. Anyone else lost?

While we're on the topic of HT leads, is it possible to get the original red ones? Or at least some aftermarket red leads? :)
