Handbrake Cables ?

Hi All,

 

I'm going to be fitting a 1.9 rear beam to my 1.6 GTi, will I be able to use the 1.6 handbrake cables or will I need the 1.9 disc brake type ? I've looked on the parts ref. drawings and it lists different part numbers for drum/disc handbrake cables ???

you'll need disc brake cables, i.e 1.9 ones.
