Phase 1.5 Or 2

Hi all I'm a new member with a 205 1.9 gti 1990, I was wondering is it a phase 1.5 or a phase 2.The car was imported to Ireland in 1993, the original reg is G429 OGK. Also, the car is fitted with a water/oil cooler that is disconnected any ideas why? Do they give trouble?

1990 is phase 1.5 and has grey interior and exterior plastics (as opposed to black in phase 2), orange front indicators and old-style tail lights.

Less of the old style more of the retro.

It should have a Air cooled cooler and not a oil heater (Heat Exchanger) so if present the engine may have been swaped

Apart from the 1990 models that are Phase 2.
