Another Xsara Rack Question!

Morning! All this xsara rack conversion looks good. Im just worried i might still have a slight 'dead' spot, almost like a bit of play just before the wheels move, which people say is associated to having removed the PAS. At the moment i have a PAS rack with PAS removed, and want to get rid of this dead spot, and a quicker rack would be a bonus!

Seems to one of those things that vary between racks.

 

For example, my Xsara rack has no dead spot, and neither did my 205 (de)PAS rack from my previous car - but the 205 PAS rack that replaced it when the owner wanted PAS refitted did have a dead spot.
