309 Drive Shaft Lenghts?

Can any one measure the lengths of 309 shafts I just got what I thought were 309 ones and are exactly the same as my ones!!! Have I been duped!

They are only about 10mm or so longer AFAIK, so will look very close.

 

Also, they are typically measured compressed, so might well show a difference then.

 

It's far from unheard of for incorrect driveshafts being supplied though!

i hope so! they are to the mm as they sit in my shed!

A quick search turned this up-

 

205 driveshaft length (mm)

RH - 840

LH - 600

 

309 driveshaft length (mm)

RH - 850

LH - 610

 

I would imagine they'll be compressed lengths.

I would never 'dupe' anyone

 

As I said previously I bought them new as being 309 driveshafts (i have supplied you with a copy of the original invoice) and have been using them alongside 309 bottom arms without issue, so never thought to doubt that they weren't. If there is an issue we will have to sort something out.
