205 Gti Estate Anyone?

i was doing a little surfing looking for 205 gti related bits and bobs and came across this

anyone seen one before? i believe it to be a pre production prototype.

Is it wrong that I think that if you blacked the b and c pillars, lowered it a touch and put a gti valence on that 205 estate would look spot on?

To me there's a similarity in the side profiles of both and the wedge-y shape of the front wings and bonnet? I agree the spec sheet and looks would have made a great car.
