Recommended Posts

Just going to look at Saxo vts, guy says it has sticky tappet, is this a really bad thing, easy job?

Said he'd fix it but it's jus starting to put me off a bit

He's only payin 50quid to have fixed, sounds cheap?

Cheers Mark.

ask him hat the garage is doing for £50 to fix it.

any history and how long has it been ticking? timing belt recently? head off or anything?

if the car is cheap (and Saxo vts's tend to be these days) then its worth taking a punt on, replacement engines are easy to come by.
