Lowering My 205 Rallye Look Alike :p

hi there i have done my lil 1.1 205 style up like the rallye but unsure how much to lower it to dont want it to be silly low but a nice ride hight any ideas how much i should lower?

Thats what I was going to suggest. However getting some springs that will actualy lower it only 30mm can hard!

How far can you go on a 205 for lowering before you lose your handling? ive been told off a few people about 30mm ish :/ im ready for lowering mine but really not sure atm. Btw Bazil your 1.1 looks pretty damn well! :D

usually more than 30mm on a gti makes the wishbones a dodgy angle, but im not sure the base model has that problem with track control arms.

I'd say aim for 30 but 40 wouldnt do any harm

to be honest with lowering springs its always approximate anyway, as it depends on which engine is in there (different weights etc)

99% sure a set of eibach springs will give you from 25-35mm drop, as well as keep decent handling.

 

I think you'll struggle to notice any major change in handling, be it good or bad.
