Camshaft Advice

Hi, im running a standard 1.9, ive just cleaned my head and re-sat new valves, looking to replace the camshaft, what would anyone advise for a good power increment but without hurting its everyday car driveability and idle.

Do you mean replacing the standard D6B cam? If so, it's hard to beat for what you've described. I'd just take a 1mm skim off the head and re-time the camshaft accordingly. If you can get the CR above 10:1 it will spring to life. Spend more time/effort/money on the valve seat and port work.
