Ok I have been given a magneti marelli coil bae504f6j any good or no can't find the spec for it to see if any good for my 1.9 8v

Ok then I have look in to this and it is a group a coil for a rs sierra cosworth I have got the workshop manual of one of my matesand on a std the primary resistance is 0,72 to 0,88 ohms and secondary resistance 4500 to 7000 ohms.The spark plug gap for the cosworth is 0.75mm.The 205 gti is 0.85 and 6000 ohms plug gap 0.8mm on a electronic breakerless system same as the cosworthso what do you think give it a go or no?

no problem with the standard coil but being a group A coil I was thinking may be beter?

Its not going to make your car faster. If the car runs fine with a good standard coil, then you wont gain anything.

doubt it very much a lot of stuff get GpN and GpA tags when they are just standard off the shelf parts.

that's the thing I no it is a group A for a cosworth and can't find the spec for it the spec I got was form another mate how has a cosworth and the mate I got it of for free killed his befor puting it on
