Distributor Vac Unit

Recommended Posts

I have a spare distributor here that unfortunately the VAC unit has failed (diaphragm gone). The distributor is a BOSCH 0237009076 and I believe these units are NFP from Peugeot. In the past I remember seeing on the forum that it's possible to find a Bosch supplier and quote the pug number. Could someone be kind enough to help me find the servicebox part number for this unit?

Thanks

Steve

I've just found the number 5951.80 on an old thread. Does this number sound right?

Okay, so what's the knack for refitting the new unit? I can't seem to get the arm on the new VAC to slot onto the 'hook' inside the distributor. The distributor is off the car so it's not like I'm trying to do it in situ, or is it a case of persevere?

Persevere, it's fiddly but do-able, you just have to carefully hook the hole on the tab inside the dizzy.

Worth noting that the 1.6 and 1.9 advance capsules aren't the same here too!
