Itb Back Plate Fitting

Does any one have any tips for cutting the back plate for throttle bodies?. Ive decided to ditch the sock. I was thinking of marking the bodie face with tip ex then touch the back plate on it. Then whole saw the big wholes an drill the little ones. Wat you think.

use a carboard template first mate, i would and did when i did mine.

 

saves you cocking up a £40 bit of metal

 

i think i marked mine out with lines and a compass then cut it out with a holesaw when i got it all right

If you've a few more quid buy a hole punch. Much more precise than a hole saw and will leave a cleaner cut.
