New Gti Owner J217 Mud

Hey guys just posting to see if any knows my new old girl J217 MUD and maybe just a general welcome to 205 gti ownership!

 

Shes a non sunny,non pas,non cat was specced with central locking.

 

Last week my brother whos in the trade said a friend has a 205 gti thats been sitting in his garage for 4 years so went for a look.

 

I was expecting a complete wreak in a damp soggy garage or something as many of these type of cars turn out to be.

 

How wrong was I!

 

The paint is nearly perfect bar a few scratches where his childrens bikes have caught it but there aren't any dents.He put the battery on charge the day before and it fired right up!

 

The history folder is as thick as a large book even the orginal receipt for the deposit,marketing folder,service book,spare immobliser fob,stereo warrenty etc orginally bought by a doctor!

 

All it needed for the mot was a inner rack joint.

 

Anyway enough waffling onto the pics!

Interior is pretty much perfect and yes shes a 1.6!
