So next up was fitting power steering...

From the black 306 I broke up I managed to find a complete engine mount bracket assembly, needed this as I cut down my other one earlier thinking "won't need that anymore get the grinder out!" I also managed to use the power steering pipes, ram, bottle and pump. I then bought a new xsara VTS power steering rack with threaded pipe fittings rather than the push type fittings. I also bought a pair of standard track/tie roads as the xsara ones were just that bit too long as the xsara is wider, I could of cut them down but I managed to sell the xsara ones :)

I also untitled and raised the engine hence needing a reangled manifold. Replaced the smaller mount with a standard one.

Ha cheers bud, had a look and I can only find these pics so hope they help. They were taken when I first had it on the road before I relocated the fuel filter and fitted PAS. The ecu set up is a cut down 306 battery box which mounts on the back edge of the battery tray and the air filter is a silicone pipe with an inner metal pipe and an el cheapo filter ;) I'll see if I can get more over the weekend.

Looks amazing!

Is that a new washer bottle or have you found a way of getting it spotless?

New washer bottle for that one, thought I had no chance of getting the old one to a reasonable standard!

You'll be pleased to know I gave it a go over with the Dyson and I put it back from where it came....my mothers hallway ;)
