Hi peeps, I have been missing for a while but fate has brought me back to the pug scene again!

 

On one of my days off from running a pub I have been mechanicing at a friends garage. One of his customers had a 306gti6 which had a bit of a coming together with an armco down south.

 

I picked the car up 2 weeks ago and it is still drivable albeit with a creased rear wing and one of its boomerangs damaged etc etc. Its a cracking bit of kit and after not driving the 309 for so long its made me smile massively.

 

Its reg is T918 CJW and I cant find anyone over at the gti6 owners forum that knows anything about the car or previous owner. The car is festooned with owners club stuff and the log book says Paul Westhead was the previous owner but no one knows anything about him?

 

Anyway, its a cracking car to get back to mint, it goes very sideways very nicely and I love it to bits.

 

Hope I am still welcome on here and its good to back in a nervous powerful fwd hatch again

Nice to see you're still around Jonathan, called into your bar after the bingley festival last year but didn't see you at work.

 

306's are great fun, even though mines a hdi, I've played with the suspension & had it remapped.

 

For a daily drive it ticks all the boxes I need it to.

 

I'll call in again next time I'm in Bingley & you're open.

Get the 309 back on the road and I'll drag Dennis langley and martin Cole and the rest out to sit on the slam panel when you put it on the rollers again!

Its good to see the old faces still around

 

309 still under a car cover outside awaiting finsihing but the 306 is aproper welcome return to the fold. Its good to be back.
