just found pics of this gti on a foreign facebook page, seems it was or is for sale for 12.5k. it looks like its armoured or insulated?? anyone know?

It was one that was for sale at the auction in Peugeot socheaux museum back in 2009 when I was there. It went for strong money too back then, and tbh wasn't that nice in the flesh. Bullet proof windows in it for transporting VIP's And I think the doors were armoured too. Air con in it. Those pics look to be from back then too as it was dirty and also I recognised the 505 turbo cup car in yellow.

interesting! an armoured 205 gti? WOW! i wonder who it was orinally made for. a french politician or vip? i wonder if it still exists and how much the armour blunted the performance and handling lol!
