205 Tu3M Oil Leak From Gearbox

Hi,

 

After changing my head gasket I have discovered a leak from the gearbox.. It doesn't seem to be coming from the head gasket because it's dry around the cylinder head.

 

The leak seems to start around the clutch lever/ sensor area, also quite close to the join on the housing..

 

I haven't done anything to disturb any seals here when I was working at the car..

 

Has anybody had the same sort of leak, can get a few pics if needed..

 

All il say is the oil does seem to be dirty, but I guess this is from it running down the side of the box..

Actually was engine oil!!! Had another look, dripping from the aluminium dizzy housing... O ring wasn't the right thickness... Probably the issue solved!!
