Yes they will bolt straight on assuming it's still on base model hubs - you'll need to use the caliper bolts from the 306, but otherwise it's a straight swap.

Haha thought so.

Good luck with the MOT and aleast there's no emmisions to worry about. My car with the previous owner had it sat for 9months and went straight through an MOT apart from needing a backbox.

If it doesn't the price your paying is a steal so definatly get it either way!

Like I said though the brakes on your car don't look like standard STDT brakes so just have a double check

Yeah would be worthwhile if you have it. Mines ok with the 306 brakes and rear disks with standard servo though

The brake servo on the STDT should be fine, it's same size as the GTI & 306 hdi at 225mm but the hdi calipers have a 6mm larger diameter piston so a bigger master cylinder might be of benefit to avoid a long pedal.

The hdi brake pads have a much bigger surface area so they will make a good improvement over the standard STDT vented GTI set up imo.

Do you really need rear discs other than for the looks? They don't work any better & often have a weaker handbrake.

Hi there neknik, Without coming across too much like a complete geek, perhaps you could consider checking the spelling, punctuation and grammar on your posts? They do come across as very hard to read. Welcome to the forum by the way :D

Yes.

I think your STDT will have the base model 19mm m/c fitted but you ideally need to try the calipers to see if you like the amount pedal travel with your current m/c & then change it if you don't.

Also, before you remove it, check the angle of the mounting flange bolt holes on the hdi m/c, they might not match your STDT servo so you'd have to swap the servo as well.
