Carpet Removing

Recommended Posts

justinv

Hi All,

Am almost done with painting and de rusting my 205 and is now as good as new. Would like to know what is the easiest way to get the carpet out to give it a good clean and get that red shine back into it.

Is it off just by removing the seats and handbrake thingy ?

Justin

difficulty level : 2/10. only because you have to open the doors before beginning. Quite a task for some people.

And centre console and lower seat belt bolts.

The only vaguely difficult bit is removing the front seat bolts if they've rusted in place sometimes, but even that's generally not a problem at all.

Otherwise, it's very straight forward and obvious enough what needs removing - I think I had the carpet out of my 205 Mi16 within about 30 minutes start to finish.

Thanks for all the info, these have already seen them and have to get them removed, what I was worrying about is maybe the carpet is around the heather or something like in a 306 and is difficult to remove

Thanks
