firstly what size is the front arb? is it worth upgrading to a 1.9 one?

also is the clutch push or pull type?

Same front ARB as a GTi. Rear ARB is smaller (16mm IIRC) and a 19mm GTi rear ARB is a good upgrade.

Clutch is a 215mm push-type - pull type clutches were never used on 205/309 models, only later cars.

The same I think. Does make a big difference to the handling I found but I put a 1.9 beam on which had thicker TB's.

I have one and the GTI TB's sat in the garage if your interested ;)
