205 Gti Boots?

Hi all,

 

Are the 205 CTI's have Gas boot struts?

 

If so are the ball joint ends on the shell removeable? looking for some short struts and joints to make them fit on another car..

yes, on the shell they are welded on, angle grinder will get them off.

my cti had gas struts, although they were dieing. unable to help about the ball joint.

306 ones are removable.

Ill have to have a poke around my brothers 306 then..
