Shiny Gti!

Found a box of Diamondbrite washing stuff in my garage so I thought I'd give the gti a once over with the shampoo and polish.

Its blooming good stuff, so I did both our Italian cars as well. I'm knackered now, so here is a pic of the fruits of my labours.

The car is running very well now, so thanks for all the help on the forum.

They're the wheels from my 306 cabriolet (obviously) that I put on for winter, when the cab is laid up, as they have great wet weather tyres on.

Wish I'd gone for your 309 beam now, to fill out those rear arches!

Looks fantastic and the same colour as my GTI. I have some diamondbrite which has never been used in my parents garage. I bought it as an impulse buy off eBay and wasn't sure if it was pukker or not. It's sat there ever since. I should test it on something to see what happens. At the time I heard horror stories of the fake stuff containing all sorts and even down to paint thiners etc.

Cheers

Me too. The 309 is great, but it just doesn't have 'the look' of a 205.
