adrian flux are always reasonable and give you discount for being on this forum, other than that competition car insurance are good but you need to hold a msa licence.

Flux can be a pain to sort out claims as my mate just found out, 4 months later and its only just been sorted. Obviously as they're a broker they'll be communication problems sometimes

Need2Insure iv found to be good at convincing the insurer's agreed values, if thats what you are looking for.

Do they actually though?

Numerous companies claim they give discounts to members of various clubs/forums, but they ask if you're a member of any clubs before giving you a price, so there's no way to tell if they've actually knocked any off. If you don't mention being a member of a club, get the quote, then ask for the discount then they fob you off with excuses - usually saying they've already added it, or that it makes do difference in your case. <_<

good point, but they where the cheapest for e by nearly £200, dont take out any of the extra cover they try sticking on like stereo cover and wind screen cover etc as thats what bumps it up, they'r worth chatting to, ge a quote then mention your a forum member, see if it comes down.

i found that prices vary from day to day, before new year i was quoted £190, a week later it had risen by £100! best thing to do is get as many quotes as possible, and try get them to beat your best price.
