Cheap Gunuine Peugeot Parts From A Dealer With Mail Order

Recommended Posts

Fox

I've just placed an order through Yeomans

Basically, email your part numbers to thepeugeotshop@yeomans.co.uk, they will come back with a price including delivery if you need it.

I've been informed my parts will be ordered today and hopefully with me Wednesday.

The other bonus is that service box calculated the total cost to be £121.52, they charged me £100.66 including delivery!

I'll keep you updated with how they get on!

Perhaps we might be able to ge further discount if this drums up some interest?

I just had a quick look at their clutch prices for a 306 hdi & I can get it cheaper from my local Peugeot dealer than they are offering but admittedly it is still less than the service box price.

Nice guys, met the pair that run the parts dept at Yeomans a couple of years ago at Pugfest, they gave prizes for the quiz on the evening before.

I doubt they will be able to discount much further especially on special order stuff, standard stock they get much better rates on, also typically if they place the parts you need on stock order and wait a few more days they can discount further IIRC from chatting to my local man.

The main dealers around here are so unhelpful it is untrue, so this sounds a good option.

I now use SEL Imperial for my genuine bits, worth a phone call.

I could make you sick by telling you how much they can discount certain things by, for example, clutches are usually up to 50% discount (at the parts mans discretion) and even then the dealer is still making a 5% profit! The full retail on cluthes (as an example) includes over 100% mark up on what the dealer pays for them! crazy!

It would be really helpful to all the forum if you could post up the discount rates which the dealer is able to offer on the retail prices, split by category etc. Being better informed will allow us all to haggle a better price at the dealers.

I get 10% off my main stealer. (He's twice my age and has a 205GTI!)

my main stealer usually knocks a bit off for me, he used to own a 205 GTi in 1987! He's a sound lad but its still fairly pricey. I'll give this a try next time so cheers mate

Some Motor Factors sell Pug Stuff direct I found out the other day, 'Jayer' (Southern region) group do as I had a customer supply a clutch cable from them, But as said Exhausts, Clutch's are a silly mark up which is one of the few things,

I've have the same, ordered a rad from A & M and they said it was from Pug. Last one in the country apparently and got it for a pricey sum of £20
