Finally Fitted My Peugeot "sport" Valance

The colour match isn't the best but it looks ok. What do guys think of it?

It scuffed reversing off my drive

I really doubt you can buy these still but it was made buy peugeot so there might be one lying around.

Such a shame really as speed humps these days tend to be ridiculously high and i can think of several places where i live where that valance wouldn't last 5minutes!Looks great though.

The airflow seems to be alright. Need to either re-mount the plate or get a square side plate maybe??

 

Well if it's really bad i'll just raise the front up.

I used to have one of these on my old n/a 1.7d 205, was fitted when I bought it & always meant to remove it because after fitting the 205 GTI front springs it caught the road leaving my street.

 

I've still got the rear valance to match downstairs.

Looks tidy, and makes it look a bit different so it stands out as a 'diesel gti'

Had a slight issue with it lastnight (apart from the speedbumps) on the motorway, because the g/box makes it rev high it boosts 5PSI at 60 mph so when I put my foot down through the tunnel going it to brighton the temp gauge started creeping upto just past halfway. Had to flick the fan on to bring it down.

I think it's down to having the numberplate right in front on an air vent (the rads lowered due to the FMIC)

I think that bumper really suits the car although i'm biased to that opinion as my GTI has the full Peugeot Sport kit fitted inc rear bumper & skirts courtesy of the first owner although thankfully he didn't select the option for the awful lower boot spoiler that was also part of the kit
