Base Model Arch Cutting

I seem to remember a thread or two in which people had cut base model arches to the shape of GTI arches, but cant find the threads in question.

Does anybody know the threads Im on about?

If not anybody done this and able o answer a few questions?

You have to chop ALOT out of the rears, but only a few holes in the fronts, oh and you have to chop the ends of the bumpers down

I'm aware that a reasonable amount needs to be chopped on the rear, chopping the bumper won be an issue

 

as for the fronts im thinking of just swapping the wings to gti items

I found fitting pepperpots to mine caused major rubbing on the bumper and valance which I found very odd as the bumper looks the same as a GTI. Most of the valance has been scrubbed off now
