Driving/fog Surrounds

the surrounds on my driving light are knackered but the units are in pretty good shape so was hoping to just change the metal bits.

 

are they available anywhere? do they share the same pattern with any other model cars?

 

or does anyone have a good set?

 

or am i just looking at a complete new set

You used to be able to get them a while ago but they are NFP on service box so probably a new set & protect them better before fitting them.

 

Part number is 6212 35 but I think you'll struggle to find some.

Did you find anywhere that sells them pete? As im also after some as i have two sets of lights that are in reasonable condition apart from the surrounds!

Went down to my local peugeot dealers this morning and ordered to surrounds, was told they are still available, £6.33 each plus VAT. I'll wait and see if they can actually get them now!

If dave ordered the right part then I posted it above but they are showing as NFP on service box but he might've hit lucky.

You think they would just look at the screen when they look it up! It's fairly easy to see where it says 'part avalaible' or back order to est [date] or 'no longer supplied' on the polaris system.

I thought similair, but on second thoughts thats why they work at a parts desk?!

Ah they aren't all bad. Ive done parts desk for a year or so now. I always check availablity when someone asks for a part, especially older vehicles. With back order/short supply parts Ive had plenty of customers saying that the neighbouring dealer can get it ok but you can't until such a date. My answer being, well you may go to them to get it then, which normally results in them ringing back later telling me what I already told them! It's not the hardest job to do either tbh.

Maybe they didn't understand what the three letters NFP below the part number meant.
