Ive been looking at the diagram in this thread but can not for the life of me understand why there are two stabbings in the line from the matrix back to or should i say after the thermostat housing, why isnt there one hose? and just simply blank the other one off?

Am i missing something obvious here?

I only have one connection on the side of the thermostat housing, not one one on the back wer the red line is on thsi drawing.

had another look and compared to mine and mines a little different so this is how mine is set up in my 306

the (little) pipe to the left on the bottle which is what i had spare on mine went to an L shape metal pipe on the thermo housing which is blanked off by 2 bolts either side but i undid the bolt and put my pipe on the end and had no problems, my engine didnt have the extra metal pipe comming out the water housing on the back or engine by the looks of it in the first picture but my d-turbo rad on my 306 had an extra fitting on the bottom left of the rad which is where i put my main big header tank pipe. iv changed rad now to a fill up one so im not using a header tank anymore but i had no problems the way i did it.

is there no bottle on a 205 with just 2 pipe fittings on that you can switch to?

I dont have two connections on the stat housing and i only have 3 on the rad not 4. Im sure im going to have to blank a few connections off?

dark blue at the top is where i undid the bolt and put my spare pipe on altho you could just plank the pipe off.

the green circle i dont know what that is iv not got that i dont think.

red circle is the second port im on about

purple circle is where you rad connects too which should be a pritty much straight pipe to it.

The green circle comes from the turbo.

The main purple one is connected to rad, i've already put that on. The red circle is the one im unsure on and havent connected to anything yet, i need a 3 way tee from it to the matrix and 2 take off's one to the top and one to the bottom of the expansion tank, or should i just blank one of them?

I really cant understand how know one else has had this much grief or is it just me?! :(

i have a straight pipe from matrix to the red circle pipe, my guess is these 205 boys have a different expansion tank like one with just 2, either that or blank one off or like i did connect your last pipe to the blue circle like it shows in the second diagram on here

I cant do it like that diagram as i only have 2 outlets off the water pump. Im going to connect the matrix to the red circle pipe and then tee the two expansion tank connections into it, all the plumbing will be finally finished then!
