205Rallee 59 Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) Finally decided to change my LHD headlamps for RHD ones (fed up with putting beam adjusters on for the MOT and having rubbish alignment). For originality I wanted to get a new set with the bronzey painted bit at the back of the lamp. So found two new ones on e-bay. Unfortunately one turned up as a lucas LWB743 or Valeo 069128 and the fittings bear no resemblance to those on a 205. Looks very much like a 309 left hand side headlamp Now I can send it back, but was thinking is the 309 lense shape the same as the 205? If so could I take the glass lense off both my old headlamp and the new 309 one and mastic(?) the RHD 309 glass onto the body of my existing 205LHD headlamp? Anybody ever done this?
