Suppliers Poor Customer Service

Recommended Posts

Is it just me or do companies offering 205 stuff not have any idea of the meaning of customer service?

Firstly I used spoox for some ht leads and a bonnet catch, the bonnet catch turned turned up like it had been dragged along the floor, returned for a replacement, they supposedly never recieved it despite sending recorded.

Then in october I order a quickshift gearstick from constella in november no contact or quickshift. So I phone about 10 times leaving messages as

everyone is busy. Then told a machine is broken and it will be with me in 2 weeks. Well now in january no quickshift. So I phone get told we will phone back in 10 mins, that was about 6 hours ago.

Is it any wonder the economy is knackered

I nearly ordered from Spoox once. Got as far as the checkout and then abandoned the transaction when they wanted to charge something silly like a £10 premium for credit card transactions, even though that was all they would accept at the time. On top of their already premium prices and the premium delivery charge they wanted too.

So you are right, it is no wonder the economy is f***ed.

I'm glad we have decent traders like Miles and Baker BM on here, who offer excellent service. Thank god :)

This happened to a mate of mine, never got sorted and they are now ignoring his calls.

Something a bit unusual about BBM though is in the past when I've bought items, it was actually cheaper for me to buy the bits through eBay than it was direct from the website with the forum discount

Haven't checked if it's still like that recently?

[Yeah some bits still are] Turbo hose is £4.80 dearer on website with forum discount than on eBay.

I have to add though that I was very pleased with the product and service and would definately use them again :)

You try being a trader, Thankfully you get to know who can and cannot and I like to treat others as I would be treated

The only companies I would trust to do anything are AB Motorsport and Shenpar, the rest well ..... .... ....

Thanks for the comments

at the moment its more expensive on ebay, which makes sense

I really can't fathom why you'd go to spoox for plug leads  standard motorfactor bits will do!

as for a bonnet catch, just use the wanted section!

never had any issues with the traders recommended by many on here :)

I only ordered leads as they have custom magnorcor ones for mi16 using wasted spark. The bonnet catch was the bit on the slam panel I thought a poweder coated one would tidy up the bay and I wasntgoing my usual powder coater for a bit. Seemed like a good idea at the time :s
