Urgent Help Needed!

Recommended Posts

pugpaul

My fiancee has a 206 GTI with a/c. The aux belt snapped earlier and now the car is dead as in flat battery so need to fit a new aux belt. Two troubles with this are...... I have not got a clue which way the belt goes on as in which pulley/tensioer it has to go under or above, tried looking via Google by typing in '206 GTI aux belt' but no joy......So I need a picture or diagram of how this goes on.

Next trouble is my fiancee is a Nurse and is on emergency call from 1pm tomorrow so I have to get it fixed by then!!

Any help would be fantastic. Oh it is the 136bhp version not the 180bhp.

Paul.

most belt manufacturers will have a diagram either on or in the box. try asking at your local motor fators when you purchase one.
