green is for the ecu, blue for the dash gauge+warning light, brown for the cooling fan control system on aircon models.

you dont use any of the engine sensors for the cooling fans when its in the 205, its all self contained.

as for the early ecu, depends if they had immobilisers of any kind, easy enough to sort yours out though, just fire it up and disconnect the keypad afaik.

Neither. You use the 205 fan wiring.

thats my problem i havent got the main harness and keypad. could get one as theres a 406 fresh in my local breakers but i believe the early citroen xm ecus are non imo type. so if i use one of these im hoping i can just bin cables 821,820 and 822. cheers for the answers so i just wire my fans up on original circuit and take the blue sensor to the instrument cluster. lovely job

i have 2 ecu's ending in 219, one from an xm and one from i think a xantia and both only needed a live to a certain pin for them to work, both didnt have keypads iirc. (iirc = if i remember correctly) what do the 406 ecu's end in as i might have a favour to ask you as mines overfueling and iv changed everything sensor wise bar my ecu (map sensor).

I doubt if the loom for the 219 and 813 ecu's are identical.... Maybe worth checking before you buy a 219 ecu (without loom)?

ecu and knock sensor is 60 pounds for the pair. thats taking it off the car from the public yard. so your probably looking at 80 for them to take them off and deliver.

id happily sell you one but like i said im not sure if the map sensor is broke or not as mine is overfueling from cold, they do work as in when put a perm live to them though. I could send you one out and if it works you could paypal me after if you want? your therfore helping me as well by proving to me its not the ecu that is causing the overfueling.
