Ryan 99 Posted January 2, 2012 I need to rebuild both my rear calipers, but after pricing up rebuild kits and new slider pins it works out easier to buy another pair of calipers. I've been offered a pair of low-mileage 206 calipers from a 2001 1.6 CC. They look identical, but I can't find any info on whether they actually fit.
Tom Fenton 1,536 Posted January 2, 2012 Yes they will fit. The handbrake levers may look slightly different. The piston size may be different. But they will fit and work, and being a lot younger than the 205 version, probably in better nick. I have used 206 calipers on my 205 no problem.
RossD 44 Posted January 2, 2012 As Tom said, they fit fine - I have them on the rear of my 205. Piston size is the same so straight swap! They are more than likely made by Bosch rather than Bendix, but its the same caliper all said and done.
