205 Always Makes Me Smile

Its been 4 months since ive driven my 205 1.6gti, ive been getting around in an Audi A3 1.8T. The 205 had been neglected and pushed it aside. Anyway today i decided to insure her again. Put the the battery in her. Fired her up and went for "petrol" 20 minutes later i come home. I can honestly say a well set up 205 is the most rewarding car to drive EVER

I'm really yet to enjoy mine properly as only driven it twice in a years ownership, next year it will see Tarmac again and I'm sure I shall smile too.

i know the felling mine went off the road back in June "for a month" to get respray now i have a bare shell which i have actually nearly finished prep not that the shell is bad its just im forever fixing other peoples cars and dont get time for my own grrr

I had mine as a daily for around a year. Putting her back on road was the best thing ive ever done! So do yourself a favour lol

I was so tempted to tax my 205 today! Put her off the road for the winter 2 month ago! But the weather hasn't been all that bad and I'm missing the fun factor

I re-insured mine with 3 other cars 350 a month. Its so painful but cant stop doing what i love

I take the rallye out once or twice a month just to get it up to temp/make sure everything is working whilst its off the road till march. Every time I come back with a smile ear to ear, I miss it so very much!

I took it off the road for my 2.0 turbo 205 but I miss it loads.

When the super-pug is working, its great - never fails to brighten my drive home after a poo day at work!
