Driveshaft Supplier

Hey there,

Now Ive got the engine back in my 205, id quite like to put on a pair of driveshafts in so I can get it back sitting on its wheels comfortably.

What is the best option for driveshafts that are still available? The search facility just brings up lots of old threads with suppliers that dont seem to do decent ones anymore. For example ecp only sell q drive which im not exactly keen on.

Anyone bought a decent pair of 1.9 driveshafts recently?

Cheers

Craig

I've got new (yes, new) 309 shafts from AB Motorsport on the new rally car - Andy has them made up new from a place he's found. I was dubious, but ran them in then gave them some grief on the first rally I did, and they were no issue. To my untrained eye, they look well made, but time will tell I guess. Certainly can't be any worse than a recon set, anyway, so nothing ventured nothing gained :)

Mm, I did see those on ebay, but unfortunately I would like 205, rather than 309 length, as all the suspension is standard 205, so I imagine I cant run them?

try dave mac propshafts, good thing about 1.9 shafts is that the joints are replaceable.

Craig, might be worth belling him, he might be able to get 1.9 length ones made by the same guy?
