Double Oil Pick-Up

Probably been covered, but here we go:

Got the bottom end apart and looking at the oil pump scavenger and wondering if anyone has made a 't' off to collect from the other end of the sump aswell?

Looks like it would be easy enough for someone handy with fabrication to do.

Good idea, don't think it has been covered. Would another pick up physically fit under the pump? Can't picture it in my head

Would it not try and suck up the part where there is least oil as there would be less resistance to flow? Good idea though.

Where the pick up comes out of the pump, across and down, it would continue horizontally across and then drop down to new scavenger. Would have to do away with sump baffle plates but plenty of room.

Not sure how it would behave pulling oil in one, but air through the other though....

Nice thought, but as said I would think it will suck the path of least resistance - air
