Hello all,

Does anyone know where i can get one of these? I've looked everywhere and they just seem to be unheard of and was hoping someone may have been in this situation and found a source? The only place i've seen one so far is on ebay already on an xs up for sale, and despite not selling the guy was still not willing to break (which is fair enough i suppose!)...

If anyones got one laying around i'd be happy to make them an offer

there very few and far between to be honest. but you can get a 106 one and get the downpipe modified to go over the subframe. otherwise if your lucky there is a CSC marmitte system that someone on here can/could get hold of. ( I believe it to be a user called swordfish)

or if there is enough interest then we could organise some kind of group buy??

hope this helps

Jon

I have one on mine (not selling it) which i bought a few years back. It's a CSC Marmite one but they don't make them anymore.

Ahh so it is more than achieveable to get a 106 one lined up, providing you have the means to chop and move the downpipe at will? my dad is a mechanical engineer so i'm sure i can sort something out. Thanks for the tip JonXS :)

Maybe an oppertunity for a group buy from TI motorsport?

I used to love my csc marmitte on my old roland garros before it was turned in to a cube, courtesy of a careless HGV driver. Dont think I'd go that way again tho, as much as I love the tu3s engine, it is limited and if you're going to be chopping and welding manifolds, you might aswell start with a better base engine.

The only thing with that is im not really in a position to change engines at the moment, i use my car to get to work and back (best part of 50miles) everyday. With that in mind i'm more interested in playing about with the car i have, keeping the risks of not being able to use it to go to work in for a few days/weeks down where possible. I'm hoping to get myself another little run around and use this as more of a toy in the future, that being said im only 19 and my pay packet dosen't yet allow for me to insure two cars yet! (i'm paying 2k a year for this as it is!)

Thanks for the advice though, anyway im looking into making an offer for a mani that someone on here has.. and if i can't persuade him to part with it for the cash i have i will be purchasing a 106 one from ebay :)
