Please someone help me

Has anyone got any suggestions on a way to repair the plastic catch part that locates into the lid on the fuel flap?

The plastic catch has worn away and wont hold the flap closed,i cant get a new one as its supposed to be no longer available and with all this crappy weather i worried about rain going in my tank. Any temporary repairs or anyone with one for sale would be good
