As topic, My mates just got a Red Mi (Ebay  ) with the reg F820 OPJ, I have found some pic's at cadwell pack in 04 but nothing else so was wondering if anyone on here knows of it or even owned the old girl which is in some need of some TLC

Yup, that's C_W's old car and very well known - clicky

I believe that Arahan on here bought it off him.

I thought the number plate rang a bell now I know why, Body's very rusty now with the top qtr window rust, boot floor and the boot catch has seen a Pigeon by the quality of the weld, All round the O/S/R arch is rusty too, But drives fine by all accounts still and sounds sweat, I'll know more tomorrow in the daylight

If you want to upset your mate, find the video of C_W at Donington Park when it went up in flames. Pictures should be on here somewhere too.

I saw this on ebay & recognised the reg but couldn't remember if it was Chris' famed Mi.

Looks like it was but without the St Tropez valence.

I also clocked it on the bay and recognised it as being CW's old car. Put in a cheeky offer of £300 but needless to say never heard back....

It needs allot of work from looking at it today, Sill's, Window top's and bottom of the Qtr panels so in the year or so the pic's had been taken it's suffered badly, You can see still a couple of relays which got hot from the Fire, Normal Manifold leak, Joy's of crappy re-angled manifolds, No rear seats + Loads of cosmetic things

+ Poor old bugger stuck a Powerflow exhaust on it, £511.00 in March this year, Why are there so many Mug's out there, Things going rusty as ever mild steel wire was used to join it all up, Donut's

I just heard about my 205 from Dino on facebook earlier today! I had not heard anything of it since I sold it in Sept 2009. I sold it to Arahan who said he'd come back for the history and receipts etc but never heard back. You can probably find the original sale thread on here where I stressed it needed some TLC as it was basically standard for 3years so bodywork succumbed quickly to rust quickly but the essentials were there with the Mi16 engine and 1.9 with 1.6f/d gearbox and adjustable konis. It needed someone with some fresh eyes to go over it and invest some time refreshing it or even get another 205 to reshell the good bits over, fixing the manifold etc as you went.

It does have a black expansion tank, but that is singed tank sprayed matt black!!

I'm surprised anyone remember the Nos as I don't! lol, think that waste of time was on for a couple of months if that before it was removed. There might be a tell-tale bung in the induction hose perhaps! Don't understand the Powerflow system, the exhaust was a bit rusty but it was like that from beign sood, the main issue was the leaky manifold. Ironically it had a Powerflow system on it for just 2 days about 10years ago before I got a full refund and stuck to Jetex systems.

Glad to hear the engine is still going strong, you never know how things last when other owners drive them, especially how so many Mi16 conversion seem to go pear-shaped very quickly.
