ok i just phoned gsf and they said they don't do this part and I'm sure they do, does anyone have the part number so i can go armed with the information

good idea, seeing as they have changed their part number structure fairly recently.

it has changed as i give them this number GSF part number is B93490 and it came up as coolant temp sensor its the 2 pin blue plug connection

 

but the new part number for the ecu or coolant temp sensor is 929BM0140

 

i changed the part this morning and all i can say is what a massive difference it makes , no more over fueling and running rich, it runs much leaner now and engine seems more revvy if there is such a word and i would imagine using less fuel.
