Just a quick one, got a newly refurbished be3 box but need to fill it, how much oil should it have in it and how do you measure the level?

In theory 2 litres, but generally I only manage to get 1.7-1.8 litres in before it flows out of the level plug on the side.

And is the level plug the white plastic stick out cover at about 10 o'clock as you look at the box from passenger side?

No - it's the 19mm(?) bolt on the end casing.

Thats the breather or lazy mans filler cap.
