Should the nylocs on the wishbone bolts be on the outer or inner sides of the wishbone mounting points on the subframe?

Cheers :)

the rear bolt only fits one way, nut on the back, front bolt usually inserted from the front.

So both bolts inserted from the front of the car (pushed through the holes towards the rear of the car?)

Sorry to hijack the thread but it's kind of similar, can wishbone bushes be replaced with the wishbones in situ?

Not easily! Would take less time to remove the wishbones from the car.

As said, the nuts are supposed to be on the outer sides.

Afraid not, isn't possible at all given the bolts go through the bushes themselves and even if you removed the bolts you couldn't replace the bushes without at least removing the wishbones from it's mounts on the subframe because the bushes are encased by them, you could leave the BJ end attached, but there's no real reason i can see why you'd need to do that, so you may as well completely remove them!

The rear inner bolt has to be fitted from the front as said but I've always fitted the front inner bolt from the rear, as shown in the service box picture above, not that it really matters for that one though.

It doesn't really matter of course and probably just being anal, but i always face threads rearwards where possible, less chance of them getting damaged/covered in crap & rusting etc.
