Exhaust Manifold

Can anyone point me in the direction of a half decent tubular manifold for a standard 1.9 gti? all the ones i seem to find are for either Mi conversions or gti6 conversions.

Magnex manifolds crop up from time to time, of all the aftermarket parts they seem to be the ones to go for.

Magnex only lift ford manifold on there website?! Im not bothered about stainless, i would quite like a decent quality mild steel one.

 

Just looked at supersprint and all the 205 exhausts are showing as discontinued!

i may be persuaded to part with a magnex ss one i have doing nothing at the moment - not sure what they go for, though ?

Around the £100 in good condition is what I have seen most for, unless you strike lucky in a scrap yard

 

Have seen many that need quite a bit of welding, several with worn out flexi joints and springs, though springs are easy to get hold of from a Motorfactor (1.6/1.8 diesel Fiesta/escort)

 

 

There are a few more recent copies of the Magnex design incorporating a modern braided SS flexi rather than the ball and socket, they will all need a stiffer lower engine mounting to prevent them knocking and prolong the time before they crack.

I can get them (i'm the uk peugeot distributor) but I'd have to buy a batch of 10 to get them custom made. I dont think people here would want to spend £450 odd on an 8v

Maniflow crop up after a search,think they are £380 though
