Xantia 2Lt 8V Turo Conversion

just wondering if anyone can help i have just purchased a xantia 2lt 8v turbo engine which im going to fit into my 1.6 gti but need to know what mods need to be done??? the engine as already had a gti6 flywheel,clutch,engine top mount + lower engine mount extended i have the loom and ecu that goes to the engine does the ecu need unlocking?? the engine came out of a 1997 car cheers
