Is This The Correct Throttle Body For My Engine?

Recommended Posts

deryck3

First of all this is my 1st post on here so I apologise if this is in the wrong section or if it takes a couple of atempts to upload the pic.

So I haven't owned my 205 for very long and I'm not familiar with them or their engines its a 1.6 gti

As you can see on the pic (if the link works) that there is a plug/sensor in the top of the throttle body after a lot of searching I can't find any wires that may have came unplugged and after looking at other photos of engine bays my throttle body seems to be different to everyone else's, could anyone point me in the right direction of if I have the right/wrong throttle body and if the sensor should be plugged in.

Thanks.

It's G reg 89. Any ideas what its off and if It should be replaced with a genuine item although it does seem to run ok

As said, it's a later A/C T/B, Not around in 89 so it's been replaced, unless of course the engine's been swapped. You will see date stamps on everything if you look around

Ok, thank for the help. Id say its a new throttle body as it seems to be cleaner than everything else.
