Does it matter? Mine has had 13 or something, only original bits are the dash and steering wheel.

/offtopic so I won't post on the thread again: It does matter to me, but I can't really justify why :) Ideally if I don't restore my own (3 owners including my bro and me) I'd like a one prior owner low miles minter!

Paul from the Eurotrip spent something like 1000 hours on each of his 5 wheels on his restored 205, they looked the dogs nads!

I'm the same mate! Lots of owners sounds alarms bells to me! Ideally I'd like a 1 owner car but would settle for around 3 at 20yr old. I'm the 3rd owner of my current.

Seems good value to me TBH. If its been done to a high standard it's well worth it. I reckon mine will cost around 5-6K to get to where I want it. I'd rather do the work myself though for peace of mind.

This never really puts me off to be honest, if I spend serious money on a car I would always view it.

And after all that, he still lifted an old, rusty exhaust back onto it. That's more of an issue to me than the 10 previous owners.

the oldest 205's are hitting 27 years old. I'd expect the average 205 to have plenty of owners
